Dazzling Meaning Weird


	Thursday, September 11, 2008 It is now 6:30am. I've been awake since at least 5am due to pain. I believe I have an ear infection, though I have no idea as to why. I'm definitely going to the doctor today, even if I have to spend hours waiting to get in. My throat started hurting on Monday. I thought I was just getting a sore throat since I tend to have that way more often than I'd like. I took some medicine on Tuesday since the pain was increasing. The pain was strong when I woke up Wednesday, and I took some tylenol and brought tea and hard candies with me to work. Wednesday night was when I finally realized it wasn't the left side of my throat that was hurting when I swallowed, it was my left ear. I can definitely feel some sort of preasure in my ear when I lay down on either side, especially my left side. I would so much rather have a sore throat than a painful ear. I just don't know why I have an ear problem. I haven't been swimming in over a year, so I shouldn't have swimmer's ear unless my morning showers have decided to turn against me. For whatever reason, I have pain in my left ear, and I really hate ear pain. The last time I've had ear pain like this was a time surrounding my college graduation, but that was accompanied with a sore throat, coughing, and feeling completely horrible. Anyway, I have to get this fixed immediately because it's horrible. Sean and I are leaving for vacation in 11 days. I'm very excited. This will be our first vacation together. That is a sad statement since we've been married for 4 years now. We've just never had the chance to take one before due to switching jobs and then waiting for vacation time to kick in. We're going to North Carolina. I've never been before, but Sean has vacationed there with his parents many times. The only plans we have of right now are going to Medieval Times, Ripley's Aquarium, and playing large amounts of miniature golf. I'm hoping that we have some good weather. It doesn't look like we'll have to worry about any hurricanes, but that could always change. Maybe it won't be quite as hot as it is here because 93 degree temperature, plus the heat index and the bright sun make it a little too hot for September here. I will never get used to the heat here. I would rather try to deal with cold since there are ways to keep warm outside and you can still stand to do things. Very hot weather makes it so you just don't want to do anything outside.
