I love Myrtle Beach! We had such a great vacation. I look forward to going back. We were planning on getting up at 3:30am and leaving at 4am. Neither of us could sleep. We were both awake and 1:30am, so we decided to just get up and go. We were on the road at 2am. We are crazy people! We ended up getting there really early and of course our room wasn't ready. We went ahead and walked down the beach, ate some lunch, and played a round of miniature golf. The hotel said they would call us when our room was ready, but they didn't. We ended up going back around 3:30 to find that our room was indeed ready. Sean had joked that we were going to be on the top floor since I'm not a big fan of elevators. Turns out we were on the top floor. It really wasn't too bad having to go up and down from the 18th floor. Our view was amazing! I was scared of our balcony at first since I have a bit of a fear of heights. It didn't take much for me to be fine with it though. Sitting in the living room, all you could see was water. I really liked our hotel. We stayed at Camelot by the Sea. I only wish that the bed had been bigger. There were two beds in the room, but we didn't want to sleep in separate beds. We have a king size bed, so sleeping in a smaller bed wasn't as nice. I don't know how people do it. I like to have my space. Plus I apparently hit Sean really hard in the back one night while I was sleeping. I'm sure Sean was happy to get back to our own bed.

Our vacation was primarily miniature golf. We ended up playing 23 rounds of miniature golf. They have some really fun courses. I was quite disappointed in Hawaiian Rumble. It was one of my least favorite courses; it just wasn't that much fun. It's nicely landscaped, except for the promotional signs all over the course, but that's all it has going for it. If you're in Myrtle Beach, go to other courses instead of this one and you'll have a good time. Go play Spyglass, Captain Hooks, Jurassic Golf, Jungle Safari, and many others. There were about 5 that we didn't get to play because we just didn't have time. We actually went back and played Spyglass a second time because it was so fun. Then the owners told us we could play another round for free, so we played it a third time. This was one of the two courses that we tooks some pictures at. I'll have to post vacation pictures soon.

We also went to Ripley's Aquarium. The one day that it rained, we did some inside things. We played Magiquest, which was quite fun. We did a little bit of shopping at an indoor mall. That night we went to Medieval Times. Their show is pretty good, but it's all about the dinner. We ended up buying one of the photos they took of us. I kind of blend in a bit. I was wearing a blue shirt, we were seated in the blue section, and we were wearing blue crowns. It's a good picture of us though. We did some shopping at the outlet mall on our last day there. Sean bought a polo shirt, and then bought me a diamond necklace. He kept joking and saying he was going to buy me a diamond, so we had to go into the Ultra Diamond store they had. I came across a star necklace with pieces of diamond covering the entire surface of the star. I told him that I liked it, so we checked out the price and bought it. All I can say is that we got a good price on it. It cost less than the diamond and sapphire ring he bought me for my birthday a year ago. I have my engagement ring, birthday ring, and some necklaces now. Sean says the next thing is a braclet, but I don't like braclets. I also can't do earrings since I don't have my ears pierced. I've thought about getting them pierced again, but I don't know that I want it. I wear my hair in front of my ears, so it's not like you'd be able to see earrings anyways.

Speeding up to current things... Sean and I have decided that instead of buying a retro style table, we're going to buy a retro booth for the dining room. This is the style we're planning on buying. We may be getting it a little bit cheaper though. We're still looking into it. As pretty as blue is, we'd be getting it in charcoal with silver. We're going to be buying it in November. It is going to be so awesome in our dining room. We measured it all out and it will fit perfectly and will be centered in front of the big window too. I can't wait!
