|Time| 8:40 AM
|Sound| "Hips Don't Lie" Shakira
|Habit| scaring myself when looking at the clock in the morning
|Feel| tired
|Think| I need to figure out what to do today

There have been some times where I really wanted to sit down and blog but just didn't. There was the backyard incident, the movies, and now a new job.

Firstly, the backyard incident which happened on Friday, September 15th. Sean and I both had the day off and had already been out and about that day. We were back on our way out to go get something to eat and check to see if the cavalier's headlight was fixed. (Daytime running lights went out, service light came on, right headlight went out, it wasn't just the bulb, took to the shop, they had it for three days, they tried a few different parts and then had to run through every wire to see what the problem was, cost $189) I had gotten to the passenger side of the car and noticed an animal in the backyard. It was partially hidden by the house and for some reason spinning in a circle. I walked a little ways back to see if it was a dog. It wasn't. It was a little black pig, and it wasn't the only one back there. We literally had a dozen pigs in our backyard. We went ahead and went back in the house and called animal control. They apparently weren't taking any more calls and patched us through to the police. They sent a cop out to check it out. I took some pictures from the kithen window and then we went out in the yard and took some pictures. Of course the pigs ran off before the cop got here, but we showed him the pictures to prove we had pigs in our yard and he went off to go check it out. Let me go a little bit further back now. Months ago, I saw three little black pigs cross the road when I was on my way home. It was a very odd sight. Then the Wednesday before the pig incident, there were three little pigs on the side of the road when we drove by. Friday morning, there were about five or six pigs on and around the road. They seemed to be growing in numbers. Then of course that grew to twelve in our backyard later that day. Then Sean kept seeing them along the road on the way to work in the mornings. Then I saw them the other direction down the road a little after that. I have not seen them since though, and I don't believe Sean has either.

We ended up going to the movies Sunday night instead of during the day because we weren't sure if some other people were going to be going with us or not. Well, they ended up not being able to go, so we had to pay extra to see the movie that night. We saw Jet Li's Fearless. It was a really good movie. We had a disturbance though. There were about three stupid ass guys who came in the movie late and made fun of it loudly the entire time. We ended up having to move because of course they sat down close to us. I was ready to jump over the seats and beat them to death, and I almost got up to get someone who worked there to complain. Sean and I ended up moving all the way down to the end of the row we were in. I hate people. Why do they have to be so ignorant? If you go to the movies, don't be an idiot and ruin anyones movie because people pay quite a bit to be sitting there watching it. Also, don't sit directly in front of anyone unless the theater is packed and you have to sit in front of someone. For some reason, people like to sit right in front of Sean and me. Alright, moving past that. We went and saw The Departed on the 6th, and it was the first showing. It is a great movie! It's one of my favorites.

I had an interview for a store manager position on Thursday. It went really well and during the interview, I was told that I was probably going to get it but she still had three more interviews to do. Well, I talked to the district manager again Saturday morning and I got the job! I'll be starting the week of October 29. I have to go to Tallahassee to train for a week, then I go back and jump into running the store, and then someone will be there a couple of weeks later to see how I'm doing. It's kind of scary thinking about just jumping into it, but it's a slower paced store so I really should be fine. I'm excited though. I have to go to talk to my store manager this morning and give her my notice. I know she's not going to be happy at all. It's really quite bad timing for me to leave them. I couldn't even take off that last week for my parents to come visit me because they have a coupon thing going on, and now I'm not going to be there at all. That's just the way it worked out though. I still don't get to have my parents come visit. They were actually planning on stopping by anyway while they're out and about for a week, but I'm going to be in Florida training now.
