|Time| 9:36 AM
|Sound| "Stab My Back" The All-American Rejects
|Habit| not getting out of bed when my alarm goes off
|Feel| tired
|Think| I don't want to go to work

Yesterday Sean and I got up at 7am because his parents were coming over to help us take down the shutters and paint them. They were maroon; now they are dark blue. I would have preferred a darker blue, more like navy, but it looks really good and it's about 100 times better than maroon. They also planted my Sago in the front yard. Poor thing had been in a little pot for so long, but we decided when we were going to plant it and Sean didn't think it'd live long. That's when it decided it wanted to grow some new shoots. I believe it was just to show him that it was going to grow and wanted to be planted. We've got it sort in the middle of nowhere in the yard right now. The reason for doing that was so that way in about 20 years when it's big, it's far enough away from the driveway and walkway. We're planning on getting a palm tree for the other side of the yard and will be putting it as far out from the house as the Sago is.

We finally broke down and paid about $6 for a four-pack of Coca-Cola Blak. Those damn things only come in a four-pack of 8 ounce bottles. Soda cans are 12 ounces, and you can get a twelve-pack for about $4. So anyway we really wanted to try it and it seems nobody else is willing to pay that much to try the damn soda so we couldn't find out from anyone how it tasted. It turned out to be really good though. When you first take a drink it just tastes like Coke. After you've swallowed it, it just tastes like coffee. It's awkward the first time you take a drink, but then once you take more it's kind of addictive. I'm not sure if Sean thought it was, but I just keep thinking "I'd like to drink another one." Too bad it costs so much for nothing. I do recommend that if you've been eyeing it but keep passing it up, to at least pay up once to try it.

I wish they still sent us a song list at work because there are some songs I like, one in particular, but I have no idea what the name is or who sings it. This has been driving me crazy since probably October when it happened to me first. I'll sing along to songs a little while I'm there, and then I'll come home and won't be able to remember the words or anything so I can't try to look up what it is. The one right now somewhat sounds like The All-American Rejects, but I've checked their songs and it isn't theirs. They are so evil... I may need to try and write down some words whenever it comes on, but I'm usually doing something and might not realize it's the song until the middle of it. Damn DMX Music people.

|Time| 11:00 PM
|Sound| nothing - being quiet since Sean is sleeping
|Habit| playing Oblivion
|Feel| kind of tired, possibly hungry
|Think| I should probably go to bed

I had a good Easter. We went over to Sean's parents' house for lunch, and then we all went and played miniature golf. I then proceeded to play Oblivion for about 6 hours while Sean stayed on the computer and ate dinner. He found some really nice pictures to put up on the big blank wall we have above the tv in the living room. Originally we were wanting to find a gloomy/dark ocean/pirate painting; at the moment it looks like we're going to go with Clint Eastwood. (May take a minute to load.) Sean liked the expensive frame the most out of a few he picked out, but didn't really want to spend $87 on the frame. I figured if it's going to be this nice big picture in the living room then it needs to have a great frame. So we decided to go with a more expensive one. We thought this Spider-Man one was really nice, but it's a bit on the large side and we figured a black and white picture would probably be better.

We finally put down a walkway from the front deck to the driveway. I also need to take pictures of the new computer desk and office setup, the new living room curtains, the light fixtures, the new bathroom color scheme, and the duck in the master bathroom. I'm eventually going to get around to it.

I have tomorrow off, and I'm glad to have it. I'm planning on cleaning the shower and tub in the morning and then playing Oblivion all day. I'm so addicted. Now Sean has to share xbox 360 time with me. I just wish I hadn't had to go into this vampire den 3 full times (actually more little trips than that) to be done with it. Apparently when I was down the first time and contracted the disease I was down for a crazy long time because I left to get some potions so I could go back and finish, and slept and became a vampire. Then I would have been fine the second time but I didn't save before I left the cave and my game froze as it tried to load the outside world. Finally I ran through it a third time and saved before I left the cave and it was fine. I was a little pissed when it froze on me, but I really should have saved at some point in the cave anyway. That will teach me to let my game go for a little while without saving. And I had been saving pretty frequently too! Agh, so stupid. See what happens the one time I don't...

Unfortunately Sean is sick. I'm hoping he'll feel better in the morning. Every once in a while he'll have a day or two where he is sick, and it's the same thing every time. I'm not sure what causes it either. I hate when he's sick. I feel so bad and I just want him to be alright.

|Time| 10:54 AM
|Sound| "Bad Day" Fuel
|Habit| waking up early when I don't have to
|Feel| slightly tired
|Think| I need a drink

Sean and I did end up seeing Ultraviolet, but not when we had originally planned on seeing it. It was good, but near the end you were just like, "wait, what just happened?" Otherwise it was a good movie. We saw V for Vendetta on March 26. I loved it. I believe it is one of my favorite movies now. It was just so completely different from everything. Plus it had the fun V speech in the beginning; that had to be hard to write and to say. I'll have to buy it when it comes out on dvd.

We've been making a lot of changes to our house recently. We changed out all of the light fixtures to silver with frosted glass; changed the living room fan; bought new curtains for the living room (actually scarves) and new valances for the kitchen and office; bought new blinds (cordless cloth) for the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and office so all but 3 windows have the new blinds; changed all of the knobs on the cabinets throughout the house to silver octagons (used to be cheap gold circles); changed out the smaller bathroom from blue to tan and stainless steel to it; bought a new smooth-top range (black and stainless steel) with a self-cleaning oven; bought a new stainless steel hood for the stove. We're going to Office Depot tonight to check on a new and smaller computer desk.

Next on our to-do list is changing the shutters on the house, pouring a walkway from the front deck to the driveway, replacing the counter/sink in the small bathroom, replacing the sinks in the master bath, putting hardwook floor in both bathrooms, putting tan carpet throughout the house to replace the maroon, putting better linoleum in the kitchen and laundry room, painting the entire house, finding navy and silver curtains for the bedroom and master bath, placing a custom shelf in the living room to cover the fireplace we don't use, putting a larger custom entertainment center in the gameroom to hold a larger tv (I believe 42" DLP) and more game consoles, putting a large custom shelf in the gameroom for games, replacing all of the doors in the house with nice 6-panel doors. I believe that's all of it, at least for the near future.

We've been having internet problems for the past month. Comcast sucks. Apparently our house just isn't allowed to have a decent connection which stays on anymore. We called them, they came out and checked out the modem and said it wasn't the problem which we already knew. Then he was checking outside to see where the problem was starting at and told us he'd have to set up a maintenance appointment. Then we called back to see what was going on and it was scheduled for March 17. They did nothing. We kept calling to figure out if they were ever going to fix it and seeing as they were being fucking stupid about it and taking forever they cut our bill in half, which it should have been more than half seeing as out internet had been out longer than 2 weeks at that point. Then Sean called and they came out that evening and fixed it, for about a week that is. Now it's back to disconnecting, reconnecting, disconnecting, etc. Sean called on the 30th and the guy gave the modem a power surge. Then I called today and told them it was back to being out and now they are coming back out tomorrow morning to fix it. We'd switch providers but nobody else offers cable in our area and we're not switching to dsl. Sean's parents have had their cable connection with Comcast for about 5 months now and haven't had a single problem. We keep having connection problems with them, but it's never been this bad. They've even told us that the connection in this city isn't nearly as good as it is in Panama, FL. I just want to be able to get online during the day without having to try and get lucky with the connection staying on long enough to load something.
