February 2006
Friday, February 24, 2006 |Time| 10:30 PM |Sound| "Angel" Sarah McLachlan |Habit| working, unfortunately |Feel| very tired |Think| I should have been in bed at 9 I've been so busy with work lately. There was a time when I worked 2 weeks without actually having a day off. I ended up going into work on my day off to interview someone and get paperwork done and trying to get things figured out. Then I worked the next night I was supposed to be off because I had just hired someone to cover the opeing shift that morning and so I took the closing one. Then there was the week that I worked about 50 hours. Then I was supposed to have some vacation time, which had gotten approved but ruined thanks to people quitting and whatnot. It was supposed to be 4 days in a row off. That turned into 2; the first of which I had to go up to work and do some stuff on the computer. Then I was supposed to be covering a 4 hour shift Saturday morning and then going to Panama City to eat at Olive Garden with Sean and his parents. Then that 1pm leaving time turned into 3, which changed the dinner trip to Longhorn. Then that 3pm turned into 4:15, which threw out Longhorn because the wait was a minimum of 80 minutes and we ended up going to Ruby Tuesday. Don't get me wrong, I like Ruby Tuesday a lot, but I was really looking forward to Olive Garden seeing as I haven't had it in about 2 years. Then I had Sunday off, but I had to go up to work to do stuff on the computer. Then I finally had Wednesday off completely. Of course this was all during the 7 full days off Sean had. Doesn't my luck suck. More like work is making it so that I can't ever see Sean even when I schedule to see him and that I'm about to pull all of my hair out. *sigh* My district manager is going to be in my store two days next week. Guess which days I have off... those two, and one of those will be a day off with Sean. He left me an email saying to call him. I did and he couldn't talk and said he'd call me back in a few hours. He didn't call back yesterday and I knew he wouldn't. Then today he talked to another manager in the store and told them that he would call back to talk to me, but if he didn't today that he would tomorrow. So, it looks like I'll be talking to him tomorrow. Tomorrow should be an extremely busy day. Saturdays have been busy the past two weeks and it's the last day for people to redeem their city cash coupons. Which people who have worked this week have had the pleasure of calling everyone who got the coupons to remind them to come back in and use them. They called for a lady this morning and got her husband. He then called back a few minutes later extremely pissed off that we called and demanded to be taken off of the calling list and told me that he was going to come in the store sometime and bitch at us some more. Fuck you asshole. Your wife gave us your phone number and if you want to be taken off the fucking "calling list" then you better be telling your wife not to write down her phone number for us to call her. Had he let me saying anything at all, I would have told him that the reason we had called was because she wrote her number down for us to call her. I have control and can remain calm and polite when people are idiots. If he brust into flames I'd be a little bit happier though. Archives |
