  January 2005

January 13, 2005
|Time| 9:08 PM
|Sound| "Wicked Game" Chris Issak
|Habit| doing a lot of nothing
|Feel| slightly tired
|Think| I'm glad my headache finally went away

I got a headache either yesterday afternoon or last night, and I took tylenol for it before I went to bed. I took tylenol for it when I woke up this morning. Then when I got home from work at 6:30, I took midol. Oddly enough, midol is the only damn thing that will get rid of a headache whenever I'm having my period. That's usually what I end up taking it for, that and backaches. I usually don't ever have much cramping or anything, but I get backaches and now headaches a lot. And as nice as the pills for only 4 periods a year would be, I'd never feel comfortable with it because having my period every month is a nice little reminder that I'm not pregnant. I'm not sure I could deal with not having it. I got myself all worked up Wednesday morning because I didn't think I had started yet and Wednesday is the latest that I start. I just like to make myself get all worried about nothing. I'm odd... but I'd rather not have to deal with or pay to have an unexpected something taken care of. I'm never having kids, and that's all there is to that.

I haven't worked too much this week... I was only scheduled 17 hours, and that was more than anyone else. Then I ended up with 2 more hours because Morgan asked me to work part of her shift because she had a doctor appointment or something. Payroll was just down for the week. We haven't needed people though because we've been dead all week. I actually got a credit Monday and Tuesday but none today. Today I put a little bit of jewelry out and then started to arrage the earrings by style/color. I almost had all the pinks together before I left. I don't mind not doing anything and just messing with jewelry because it makes time go by faster than anyone would ever suspect it would. I'm wondering if we're going to be dead Saturday as well. I'm sure I'll end up in the front of the store anyway so I won't be able to play with the jewelry, but it'd be a nice 5 hours if that's all I had to do. I'm really worried about what I'm going to do Saturday because the one manager who is from another store and is helping us this week has got everything arranged by size and style, which leaves absolutely nothing to do. That's what I do when I work, I organize. If I don't have that, then what do I have to do for 5 hours?

I'm planning on getting my hair dyed blonde soon. I wasn't ever going to get it dyed again because it takes forever to grow out, and I've almost just got all the color grown out of my hair now. But I was blonde until I was 13 or 14, and until I went and highlighted my hair. It does look good on me, and I've been told I look better with blonde hair. I really don't want to have to deal with getting touch-ups and whatnot, but I'd like to be blonde again. Sean thinks I should as well. I'm just wondering how much the upkeep of it is going to cost and how often I'm going to have to get touch-ups.
