I've got my new layout done! WOOHOO! I really like it. Plus it's simple. It only took me 2 or 3 days to do. *lol* Now, I got my friend Laura's opinion on it and she said she liked it. If she didn't like, then nobody would. *lol* I still don't know of any girl that doesn't like Vin. I have a test in my computer (IWT) class tomorrow. It's over chapters 1 & 2 and we're on chapter 5 now. The first chapter was the longest too. It's all about the history of the internet and stuff. I don't care! ARGH! Oh well. I need to study for like 2-3 hours more tonight. I'll do that later before I have to go to bed. That way it's fresh in my mind. I'll also study when I get to school tomorrow. I should do alright as long as everything isn't just essay questions. My dad installed my CD player in my car today! YAY! I'm so happy. I've got all my radio stations programmed in & I tested out the CD part with my XXX CD. XD *lol* It's nice. I've got a rotating dial for my volume & a remote too. *lol* Like I need a remote when I'm inches away from it. I suppose it could be useful if I don't want to take my eyes off the road at all. I probably won't really use it though. Driving to & from school will be a lot better now. I've had 3 dreams the past 3 nights. I remember most of the first dream. It had Vin Diesel in it. *lol* It was a really nice dream. I know the other 2 dreams were really weird, but I can't remember them at all. I hate it cuz I know I had dreams, and I remember waking up and thinking they were really weird, but then my mind just goes blank. I want to remember all of my dreams. I envy Laura. The only person I know who has a dream every night and can remember every single one. Well, new DBZ episodes are gonna be airing on September 16th. I can't wait. Cartoon Network also has some new anime show on on Saturday nights. I can't remember the name for anything. It's really weird though, both the name & the show. Oh well. Almost all of the channels on TV in my area were changed. Cartoon Network used to be on channel 49. I turned it on on Thursday and tennis was on. *lol* CN is now on channel 54. It's crazy cuz the preview channel is on 95 and there's a weather channel or something on 99. Normal TV isn't supposed to go up that high... I think I missed an episode of DBZ too cuz my VCR was being stupid after I changed the channels to record. It's working fine now though. A great way to start the day off really lousy is to have you alarm clock not work. Luckily I woke up on my own at 5:54 am. My alarm was supposed to go off at about 5:20. When I woke up, my alarm made some weird beep that wasn't even a second long. I thought it was weird so I went to turn it off. I looked at my VCR & about died! I was so rushed & panicked. I somehow managed to make it to school at the same time I normally do. That seemed rather weird. I was speeding a bit too though. *lol* The second part of my lousy start. I studied for my IWT test today. I knew the history of the internet & dates and was completely prepared to answer short answer questions. I get the test. It's all multiple choice. Not simple multiple choice over the things I studied. It could never be that easy... It was insane multiple choice over stuff that didn't matter that much! There was even a question that the info wasn't in the book or notes. I am thinking I didn't do that well. I have another test on Thursday over chapters 3 & 4 though. I guess I will somewhat know what to expect. This is where my day got good. I came home and decided I needed to find some new version of IE to download. I didn't download the XP version, I just did version 6 for Windows 98 & stuff. This is why I'm in a good mood. The whole reason for me downloading it was cuz I wanted to see colored scroll bars on my web pages. I can now see the colors! WOOHOO! XD I know, I know... I'm weird, but I've been basically blind about it with my web page since I couldn't see the colors I put in. Now web pages look so much nicer. It's the simple things that please me. XD Oh ... Last night was insane. My bunny jumped on my bed. Now, this may not seem like much, but my bed is like 2 and half feet off of the ground. Bunny is the size of a cat and is somewhat fat. Apparently rabbits can jump up to 3 feet. It's just weird to think about. She's molting right now too. I have white hair flying all over my room. It's fun. Ugh, too early to be tired I studied for my IWT test a bit earlier. It's over e-mail, signatures, attachments, SMTP, POP3, newsgroups, FTP, & Telnet. The only thing I don't know about is Telnet. There were only like 10 sentences about it in the book too. I'm thinking that if I don't do good on this test, then I'm gonna fail the class. I mean, I use FTP & email all the time. My IWT teacher was showing some the people in my class how to do some simple HTML coding for a web page. It was so stupid and simple. He types extremely slow too! OMG! I type about 10 times faster than him! He's been doing stuff with computers for like 20 years, he's got 5 freaking computers at home, and he types insanely slow. IWT test. I swear they are just there to make me fail. Maybe if any of the tests had anything at all from the book or notes then I'd do good. It's a conspiracy. Ranken is just trying to get money from me and fail me. Studying helps me in no way since I can't really study for the tests. I'm not the only one who thinks these damn multiple choice tests are insane. I'd rather have all essay questions! I did my writing thing today. I don't know if I wrote exactly what the teacher wanted, but it was only worth 2 points. Not that I have any idea as to what that means. I might have done alright. Doesn't matter cuz I know I'll do good in the class. I had a headache all day. It came and attacked me while I was trying to figure out how I was going to make it through my IWT test. I'm just happy to be home. Driving to St. Louis every day sux. People are crazy drivers. I'm getting to be a bit like that myself. I won't let people cut over into my lane. Actually, I was one of those people today, but I didn't mean to be. I have to get up when it's still dark, drive in crazy traffic for an hour, sit at school & be bored, & drive back home in about 40-45 minutes. Weekends are my paradise. Alright, my habit ... I only eat one meal a day: supper. I hate breakfast and I'd be sick if I ate that early in the morning anyways. Ever since I've had my wisdom teeth out I haven't eaten that much. Plus I don't want to pay for lunch or have to eat by myself in a public place. I'm actually rather hungry now, and am going to make some vegetarian mini corn dogs and vegetarian buffalo wings. Yum. I got my laptop on Friday! It's a Dell Pentium 4 with Windows XP. It's pretty nice. We're not allowed to really do anything with them though. I can understand why too. They aren't actually ours until we graduate. And before we even get them , they're taking off all of the programs and stuff. That's alright cuz it's still a nice laptop, and i never would have gotten one if it hadn't been for my IWT class. I went shopping Friday night and got the Avril Lavigne cd. It's pretty kool. I also got a new phone for my room and it's alright. It's better than my old one. That's about the extent of the good part of my weekend. The rest is all down hill. Yesterday I went over to my friend Candice's house. We were going to go out, but my car wouldn't start. Her dad couldn't even jump start it or anything. Apparently there's something wrong with the starter. I tried to turn it on and it just clicked and basically did nothing. My lights & cd player work so it's not the battery. Damn car. It's in the driveway now, and I'm just wondering what I'm going to do for school tomorrow. To continue on with last night. A few of Candice's guy friends came over and they sat around drinking. I had nothing else to do so I just kinda hung around. I really wish I had left though. Oh well, I've learned now. Which reminds me, I need to call Candice back about now... I need to study for my IWT test. My teacher told my class that we could have a short quiz on Monday over chapters 5-7. I know for a fact that we're going over chapter 8 on Monday so we'll have a test over chapters 5-8 on Tuesday. I don't want to take any more tests. They are all insane! ARGH! So, I need to do some studying. I'm going out to eat on Monday night with all the girls from my dad's side of the family... Aunts, cousins, and my mom and sister. We're going to the Olive Garden. That'll be fun. Alright, it's about 4:11 now... Just got off the phone recently... I just watched the funniest episode of Invader Zim. They had dramatic reenactments and they were hillarious! I also watched part of a Speed Racer episode. I was making fun of it too. Some of the things they say... I just don't know. TV is fun. I went out to eat at the Olive Garden last night with my family. It was fun. My meal sucked, but that's cuz I apparently don't really like chicken alfredo. I'm gonna see everyone again on Saturday though for my cousin Bill's graduation party. Melissa will be there too so that'll be nice. I stayed up late last night studying for my test today. I never had a "quiz" on Monday, but we zoomed through chapter 8 and had a test over 5-8 today. It was about 50 times easier than the previous 2 tests. It was actually over stuff from the notes and chapter. My teacher curved the last 2 tests by a lot and combined them so I ended up with a B. The lowest B possible, but still a B. So I'm happy about that. He changed today's test cuz of how the last ones were; meaning we aren't going to be having any more insane tests. I got home today at 10:30 cuz we got to leave once we were finished with the test. We got 2 hours to do the test and it was 2 hands-on exercises for one hour, and 40 questions for the other hour. I know I had to have done good on the test. I knew almost everything. My dad fixed my car and it was the starter. I'm trying to figure out how to set some pages up for this section. I'm not doing that now though cuz I'm leaving to go over to my cousin Rachel's apartment for a while. We've been hanging out a bit lately and it's really nice. I miss the old grade school days. We had a dress-down day and didn't have to wear the normal Ranken attire, but I still wore it. I even wore my red shirt. Most people dressed-down, but there were some that wore the norm. Anyways... This morning was cloudy, cool, and windy. It was so close to rain too, but never did. I got to school this morning and as I was getting my stuff out of my car this guy started talking to me. He noticed my SSJ3 picture of Goku in my back window and asked me if I was a big anime fan. Then we had a conversation about anime and Evangelion. I don't know his name or anything, but I know he likes anime. I saw him again when I was leaving school and we waved to each other. I love talking to people about anime. It's just so much fun. There was a meeting for all the girls at Ranken today. There are about 71 girls there this year. There are about 38 in Computer Networking and Internet & Web-Based Techonology combined. Only about 10 of that 38 is in IWT. And you have to keep in mind that there are 2nd year students too. I was rather shocked when I realized there were that many girls there. I had no idea... I thought there would be 20 at the most. Well, at the meeting I got a free lunch so it was all good. XD I was in the library before I went to my math class and I realized I left my math book at home. Yeah, that was smart of me. So I was reading about networking for IWT when suddenly some guy walked by and kinda lightly squeezed my shoulder and told me not to read too much or study too hard or something like that. I was just so confused at first. It was a guy from my IWT class though. He didn't sit by me or talk to me or anything. Kinda weird. Then again, nice to know that some of the guys in that class can be semi-social with me. *lol* I'm sure I'm making more out of it than there really is. That's alright. It made my day even more interesting. Ummm... I don't know what his name is either. *lol* I really need to learn people's names. My sister sent me the link that's on my intro page that's too the September 11th site. I watched it, and cried near the end. That means that it is really touching and stuff cuz 9-11 hadn't really affected me at all and I hadn't cried or anything about it. There are hundreds of people going to that site every minute too. DBZ started. Of course the phone always rings when I'm watching new episodes. I always have to answer it and it's usually not for me. I just tell people I'll call them back. *lol* Nothing is coming between me and my anime. I've got Majin Vegeta on my desktop. Mmmm... nice desktop... Oh! I figured out one of my fave quotes too! XD I went to Carbondale Saturday morning to help my cousin narrow down her wedding dress picks. She's down to two. Then I came back and went to my cousin Bill's graduation party. It was fun. We basically just sat and talked. It's nice to do that sometimes. I watched the movie Pleasantville on Sunday. Interesting movie. I still don't know who the one guy in it was though. I know I've seen him in some other movie and he looks familiar, but I don't know who he is. I made a Vin wallpaper for my friend Laura's birthday. It turned out alright. She said she really liked, so that makes me happy cuz that's what I was going for. XD Alright, I tried to start this at 8. It got pushed back to about 9. Now it's after 10. I just can't type this stuff up when I'm talking to people online. And sharing pictures with Laura. *lol* I don't even want to think about how many DBZ pics she's got. I've got 186 group pics. I've got over 500 altogether. It's crazy. I just got some more tonight too. I deleted almost all of my animations though. That cleared up a bit of space on my computer. Kinda crazy. I think I might be getting sick or something cuz I feel really hot. It's so uncomfortable... I'd rather be cold. I'm going to get my year book tomorrow. I can't wait to see it! Alright. I just finished with this layout. I really like it. It's crazy cuz I don't really like the colors purple or pink at all. I think that they wok well with sites though. I know, I'm weird. I still have to change all of the other pages yet. Not that anyone is reading this anyway since my site is somewhat down. It's up, but it's temporarily moved until next week. If you're reading this right now, then I'm very proud of you. XD I got back from giving blood a while ago. I hate the finger pricking! I also hate taking the tape off of my arm. That's the worst part about giving blood. I can deal with needles now, but I can't take the pulling hair off my arm with tape. It's evil. I got my "Be nice to me I gave blood" sticker. I also got a free gallon of milk cuz the blood drive was at the market center in my town and if you gave blood you got a free gallon of milk. Actually, you had to pay tax, so it cost me 5 cents. 5 cents isn't bad for an original $2.59. I had another IWT test again today. It was over 3 chapters involving networking. I was so worried about the test, but it turned out to be pretty easy. I also got over a hundred on my math test. My grade for that class is going to be a perfect 100% or maybe higher. XD I guess that will make up for my B+ in IWT. I'm trying to do better, but it's just so much info to cram in my head all at once. We've gone through 11 chapters and school started August 26. I've had 3 tests, 2 pop quizzes, and chapter review questions for every chapter. I think I'm just going to end up with a B+ in the class. I think that's good though. The phone rang again when I was watching DBZ. Luckily it was during the commercial break today. I swear it has to be a conspiracy! Oh.. that reminds me... I saw the guy at school that I had talked to one day about anime. I was sitting in my car and getting ready to leave when he walked by. He was parked almost right next to me too. I found out what his name is also. It's Anthony. *lol* And I figured I'd never even see him again. Well, I guess at least I know one person at Ranken that likes anime and that I can talk to about it. I realized I haven't typed about anything in a while. Geez, I'm so behind ... I have two whole weekends to talk about now. Be prepared for a long ass blogging. *lol* XD Alright, August 20th was my cousin Rachel's birthday party. I got there around 8 something pm and didn't get home until about 4:15 am. It was pretty fun. I had some Citrona, Bacardi Silver, and jello shots. *cough* Ummm ... yeah, I know ... I'm not into drinking or anything really and I don't drink to get a buzz or wasted. Usually I just have like one strawberry daquari (mind my spelling) and that's it. First time I ever had some jello shots too. Some of those were pretty strong. Rachel made 250 jello shots! I only had like 4 or 5. The next morning she only had like 8 left. *lol* People were beer bonging and doing jello shots galore. I really wasn't into the party either. I basically just was hanging out with Jenny (Rachel's older sis), Nate, and my aunt and stuff. Well, After more people started getting there, I ended up talking to this guy I used to go to school with, Shea. He's a huge DragonBall Z fan too. It's funny how I usually end up talking about anime just about anywhere I go. Anyways, I only talked to him for a few minutes and then he was going to do a beer bong so I walked away. Then he left and came back a few hours later and we really started talking then. He's really into Gundam Wing too. Anyways, when he was talking to me, he kept hugging me. It was really weird. I actually went out with him for a short period of time in 6th grade. Which was like 7 years ago. It just seemed so strange to me though. I don't know. I'd actually like to be friends with him now, but there's no chance of me really ever seeing him again to even talk to him. I'm trying to find people that are interested in anime that aren't complete idiots, and it's really hard to do. Skipping ahead into the week ... I got a test back in IWT and it wasn't that great ... We finished a 7 chapter book and took the test for it on Friday. I studied for maybe a half hour the night before and I think I did really well. We're starting Photo Shop this week and only spending a week on it which sux. Oh well, I'm not going to school to do graphics. I'm going for programming and all the coding stuff. Ummm ... I have a 103% in my math class. *lol* The only grades I have are for 2 tests and I got a 102 on the first one and a 104 on the second. *lol* I'm moving right along and should be taking another test by Friday. I'm worried about my online class cuz my teacher confirmed that she received some minor assignment from me; but she didn't confirm receiving my narrative essay which I even sent before the minor assignment. I'm gonna be majorly pissed off if she didn't get it cuz then I can't send it to her cuz it's past the due date and it's a big part of my grade. Damn online class... Alright, skipping ahead to this past weekend ... I went canoeing with my mom, dad, sister Chrissy (Krisp) and her boyfriend Josh (Darth). All of my friends were busy this Saturday so they couldn't go. It kinda sucked. I didn't really have anyone to talk to or hang out with and ended up being in a canoe with my parents. Canoeing was still pretty fun though. We canoed 22 miles in one day. We didn't start until 9:45 am, and we took a bunch of huge breaks and stuff, and then got back to our campsite around 5 something I think. It was only supposed to be in the 70's, but it was actually warmer than that on Saturday. However, the water was about 50ºF. Ummm... Nobody went swimming, but Josh went up to his waist and I was the only one from the group that actually went under water. Ok, I'm gonna put it this way... If you had your feet in the water for about 2 mintues, they started to go numb. *lol* I'm not insane, but I always have to be the brave crazy one who goes in the water no matter what. Oh, I almost forgot... We set up camp on Friday night and Josh was walking over to the bathroom and saw a copper head snake on the road. That's a nice thing to see right when you set up camp. That was the only snake we saw luckily. While canoeing we saw ducks, turtles, a racoon, a fox squirrel, and some weird birds. Luckily, no snakes. *lol* Ummm... I got stung by a bee. First time I've ever been stung and it hurt like hell. I didn't even see the damn bee and it stung me on the right side of my back. I think it may have been on the back of my shirt and when I sat down and leaned back in my seat it stung me. My whole back hurt for a while. It was insane. I understand completely why it's called a bee 'sting' now. Besides that, I got pretty sun burnt. I did actually put some sun tan lotion on my face and lower arms after I started getting burnt. My shoulders hurt and are red and I think I may have finally gotten rid of my farmer tan. My legs are killing me though. I got burnt on the tops of my legs to where my shorts were, on my knees, and a little bit below my knees. It hurts for me to put clothes on. It hurts when I straighten out my legs too. Tomorrow should be fun. I have to carry a heavy laptop on my burnt shoulder, and have to wear semi-tight pants to school and walk up and down flights of stairs repeatedly. I'm carpooling now with Nicole, Luke, and Ahren and it's my turn to drive tomorrow. At least I know I'm gonna have a lot of let room and stuff and won't be wanting to shoot myself on the way to and from school. I'm addicted to the song "Simple & Clean" cuz I heard it on the Kingdom Hearts commercial for PlayStation2. The game looks like it'd be fun so I think I might get it. Saturday Matinee called me this weekend and left a message saying that my DVDs I ordered were in. I finally get DVDs 2-6 of the Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 series. I still have only watched the 1st DVD for Boogiepop Phantom and havne't watched X yet. I also bought the 3rd DVD for Mini Goddess. It didn't seem as good as the 2nd one so I don't think I'm gonna buy those any more. Ummm... Goku turned SSJ 3 on DBZ. That's kinda kool. Vegeta's better though... Inuyasha is really good... Friends was good. Smallville was really good... Ummm... the phone keeps ringing when DBZ is on & it's a conspiracy. I told my friend I'd call her back and then told her that it was cuz I had another call. *lol* Nothing gets between me and new DBZ episodes. XD Archives |
